THE NEXT EVOLUTION IN GAME IMPROVEMENT DESIGN FOR SUB-80MPH SWING SPEED GOLFERS

/ / /  PIONEERED BY WISHON GOLF TECHNOLOGY

Wishon’s new 735CL set concept represents a modern evolution of the long-standing 730CL design, incorporating several new engineering advances while remaining dedicated to golfers with a driver swing speed of 80mph or lower. The 735CL continues the original philosophy of delivering easier launch, proper distance gaps and greater overall playability for slower swing speed players, while integrating new design elements to further enhance performance throughout the set.

SPECIFICATIONS

Ferrule Required:

735CL Driver: Any 0.335″ WD-TI Ferrule
735CL Fairways /Hybrid: Any 0.335″ WD-STD Ferrule
735CL Irons: Any 0.370″ IR Ferrule

  • High ball speed driver design for slower swing speeds: the 735CL driver is engineered specifically for sub-80mph players and features a thin, non-conforming face design to maximise ball speed and distance potential at lower clubhead speeds. The head also incorporates a rear weight port, making it the first driver in this category to allow up to 18g of total discretionary weight through the combined use of a hosel weight bore (up to 9g) and the rear weight port (up to 9g). This enables clubmakers to fine-tune swingweight and shorter lengths during assembly.

  • Reduced Face-to-Back Sole Width for improved turf interaction: the driver, fairway woods and hybrids all utilise the split sole design first introduced in the 929HS and 775HS models. By reducing the face-to-back sole width, the club’s contact area with the turf is minimised, helping the head maintain more consistent contact with the ball from a variety of lies, including light rough.

  • Two-piece hollow body iron construction for higher stability: the irons in the 735CL set feature a two-piece hollow body design, allowing mass to be distributed more effectively around the head perimeter. This construction increases stability and forgiveness while also enabling progressive centre-of-gravity placement through the set.

  • Progressive face height to influence trajectory through the set: face height increases incrementally from the middle irons through to the wedges. This allows the CG to remain lower in the #6/7 iron for easier launch, while progressively raising the CG in the scoring clubs to promote a more controlled trajectory and improved distance control.

  • Versatile hybrid hosel design: the hybrid iron heads feature a 0.370″ parallel bore hosel, allowing the use of either 0.370″ hybrid or iron shafts. This gives clubmakers greater flexibility in shaft selection during the custom fitting process.

  • Optimised shaft pairing with the S2S Cobalt: the S2S Cobalt graphite shaft has been designed as a natural partner for the 735CL. Retaining the smooth bend profile that made the Ruby Lite so successful for slower swing speeds, the Cobalt provides a modern update while preserving the feel and performance characteristics suited to golfers in this speed range.

  • The 735CL continues the Wishon tradition of designing equipment that prioritises proper fitting, functional distance gapping, and ease of play, offering slower swing speed golfers a carefully engineered set built to help them achieve more consistent performance throughout the bag.
