S2S GREEN

GRAPHITE WOOD & IRON SHAFTS

For the less skilled to average golfer, with a smooth to average transition/tempo with an early to midway release…

Features:

  • S2S Green graphite shafts are available in both woods and irons, in both an A/L combination flex and a new R/S combination flex to now fit a wider range of golfers with smooth to average swing characteristics
  • S2S Green golfer type ā€“ driver swing speeds from 50-70mph to 70-90mph, smoother to average transition force, slower to average tempo, early to midway release
  • Combination flex design offers more versatility for custom trimming to achieve ā€œin betweenā€ flex fitting requirements, and to keep inventory levels lower in the shop
  • No flex letters are printed on the A/L shafts to allow ā€œvanityā€ fitting for golfers who need a more flexible shaft but do not want others to know what flex they are using. Regular/Stiff is printed on the R/S combination flex S2S Green shafts

Tom,

I am 85 years old (20 HCp) and currently play a set of 770CFE Irons with Interflexx R shafts. I am looking to replace the shafts with S2S White or S2S Green shafts. I have lost my Interflexx Shaft data, so I am torn between the White or Green in A or R flex. My Transition, Tempo, Release and Strength average around two (2).

Any recommendations or comments?

Thanks…….Del Heller

Tom, Thanks so much for your detailed reply. I always enjoy your responses to people seeking advice or input. Very valuable and enjoyable. Here are some numbers for you utilizing a Swing Caddie Launch Monitor. My driver swing speed averages 75 MPH. Club is a Wishon 919 Hi Launch with a S2S White, R Flex shaft, C0 SWt. and 41 3/4″ in length. Average driver distance is 130 to 140 yards. (Age is getting to me.) I would like to add at least 20 yards to my drive, if possible. Have given up on 5 & 6 Irons, having replaced… Read more »

I see that the Wishon S2S Green Wood shafts (R/S) are currently on backorder. Is there any chance that you could look in the Wishon shaft profiler software to find some alternate options which have the same profile? I have a customer who already has a couple of woods with that shaft, and he wants to order another one and keep them as close to the same as possible, but he doesn’t want to have to wait a long time for that shaft to come back in stock.

Thanks in advance!

Hi George,

The Iron shafts are silver, and the Wood shafts are black – the flex band is green for all flexes with a text graphic designation.

Best wishes,

Hello Tom, I am going to order EQ1-NX single length irons and hybrids to online site ‘singlelength.com’ because no your club fitter in my country. Please help me to set club length and choose shaft. My height is 5’9″ (exactly 177cm), wt is 60kg, wrist to floor measurement is 33.85″. It is more comfortable to swing with 9 than 8 iron, but not quite different. My driver head speed is 70 to 75mph and 9 or 8 iron head speed is 50 to 55mph. Transition, tempo, release, and strength is average. Your shaft fitting system recommend S2S Green Iron AA.… Read more »

Hi Tom,

Our head clubmaker who does the assembly for every Wishon set that we sell, and is also the one who does fittings via phone for people who call in looking for help, has over 20 years of full-time fitting and club building experience. So while there is no doubt that Roy Nix is one of the best in the business, I just wanted to point out that we are also very capable of adequality servicing customers who are looking to buy Wishon clubs. šŸ˜

Tom, is the S2S Green Wood shaft suitable for Hybrid use and what would be the tip trim for a 775HS 4 Hybrid? Also with the considerable butt trim required what would be the effect on the final balance point and swing weight? Any other considerations to be aware of? Thanks.

Hello Tom, i was on a fitting here in Germany for Wishon Golf and IĀ“m very happy I did it. Your fitting concept is by far the best in the market. My Paramates at the Fitting where the following: Driver: 80mph Irons: 60 mph Downswing Transiston: 2 Downswing Tempo: 2 Wrist Cok: 1 Golfer Physical: 3 So I get recommended to the GREEN Shafts. I have two specific question: Do you think I should use a A oder R Felx GREEN Shaft for the IRONS? The 60 mph are direct in the middle from what I saw here. The online… Read more »

Thank you Tom for your answer. I know it is difficult when you not see me swining in person. Your anwser was pefect. I think this is what happens. The online fitting tools gives an indicator what is right and the specifics if it is a A or R it needs to be seen by the fitter. I trust my fitter 100%. He did a great job, I just want to understand it and you explained it great. IĀ“m really interessted in all this fitting topics. At first I thought I need some Honma Beres clubs. Because they are handmade… Read more »

The S2S Green R flex iron shaft weighs 70g in its raw uncut combination R and S flex version. When trimmed and installed it drops down to the low 60s in gram weight.

Iā€™m thinking trying Wishon Sterling one length clubs with S2S Green carbon Reg Flex shafts – are these suitable for a 12 handicap? And whatā€™s a good length for a 180cm (5ā€™11ā€) tall golfer. ?
Kind regards

Tom, I’ve had my irons for about 5 years. Over those five years, I have changed my swing to get more consistent contact. My swing has slowed down (84 mph w/ driver) and I would say that I have a smooth tempo. My 150 yard iron has gone from a 7 iron to a 5 iron in those five years. Because I love the iron heads, it makes sense to me to go to a fitter to get my irons re-shafted. I recently moved from the Milwaukee, WI area to the Janesville, WI area. Do you have a shaft or… Read more »

Bill: First off, my sincere apology for the delay in responding. The notification feature for posts and comments was not working so we havenā€™t seen the posts being made here for us to respond. Thatā€™s a big Ooops. Sorry about that. First thing I would recommend is to tell the fitter what you are looking for as your main goal – in this case I imagine getting back some distance with the irons. Put yourself in his hands for his recommendations. But I would tell you to think about two main things – 1) a much lighter weight iron shaft… Read more »
